Thoughts on this? - Build drops 104pts in pro am.

Tons of flaws with the game are notable in this video IMO - but especially i'd say the passes that go over peoples head/cannot be stolen are game breaking. Is very hard to time these - because the passes are extremely quick - and the defensive animations are very slow. Tons of bail out animations/ makes - an athletic finisher making consistent 3s.

This game is not broken at all nah. Offense is OP/easy - Defense is underpowered. Great stuff.

Feel free to leave your thoughts - IMO there's clearly lots of issues with this game and this video showcases some.

Bad defense is bad. I play alot of inside and I've never had problems with the people that try to abuse the lead passes. People just have slow reaction and anticipation.

This video is a joke. The hilariously childish commentating along with camping around the half court line. "**** doesnt matter yall!" This is terrible defense but that doesnt excuse the terrible passes being completed. Examples:

1. At 2:01 that pass is absurd. Pass whizzes right between two peoples bodies.
2. At 2:58 pass goes right by the defender into a one handed auto catch for the receiver, why is the defender not given the same capability. The pass animations are so tethered to the catch animations, of course only for offense or defensive cpu.
3. At 3:11 he even says "I'm forcing it up there, doesnt matter" Right before he throws another Tom Brady dime that the defense cant tip but the offence can catch in stride .

And then the jumpers being made.....

I sure do. Yesterday this guy threw a lead pass and the game slid my paint protector away from the basket on the catch.

A few plays later the PG threw a lead pass I tipped, turned my grand badge on , and the pass still connected. The trajectory was not affected at all.

Yeah 2K doesn't punish you for making those silly passes no matter what the defense does sometimes. On the other hand, how do you not get back/double/triple that guy? That other team was a joke tbh. Make someone else beat you. It's called adjusting.

In 2K17, any build can hit a corner three (especially when the passer has hall of fame dimer), and any build can dunk the ball after getting open by cutting to the basket. I don't see any special skills in that gameplay that are only possible with one particular build.

The only things that standout in that performance were how awful the defense was and how many times a contested lead pass should have been tipped/intercepted but wasn't because of 2K's archaic pass tethering system that unrealistically favors the offense.

Thank you - obviously there's bad defense in this video - but that's largely because the games mechanics are terrible defensively - and there are so many bail outs on offense. Offense is easy compared to defense in this game - this has been a topic discussed in other threads.

Correct me if i'm wrong - did people score so many points online in previous 2ks?... i'm sure it happened once atleast - but this year it seems to be too easy. I've seen several videos of people just dominating easily without much effort - mostly through unrealistic methods aka bail outs.

Maybe i'm wrong and it did happen in previous 2ks - doesn't change the fact that there are clearly issues with the game that make this too easy.
