Wow... that pretty much did absolutely nothing for me. And franchise is the only mode I play.

That was a crushing letdown.

Looks like the draft/scouting got a fresh paint job but it looks the same under the hood.

Really hoping the draft classes are STATIC and not DYNAMIC...well at least not to the extent they are.

I like quirks and new quick manage features, this will help me get through multiple seasons.

Unfortunately, there wasn't any news for Online Franchise, which hasn't changed in 3 years. Hopefully, we will hear something in the twitch stream

Can you player lock a player for a full 9 inning game experience or is it just available from that section of the game menu?

I am loving the cleaner look and non clutter menu. The franchise mode to me is not bad as current constructed. Other than not being able to offer contracts to players on your current roster during the season. I am not sure where that lies in SDS scheme of things for franchise mode. Because it is apart what the MLB does in real life.

So far it looks like the biggest additions this year are like three ways to play games in a less immersive way. Hugely disappointing.
