All-Star Game Issue in MyCareer Now

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue but this is the first time for me. I started a new player in MyCareer and was voted in as an all-star starter. When I go to load up the game, I'm listed as a starter for the East (I'm on the Sixers) but it only shows me as being able to control the West squad. I went ahead and started the game to see what would happen and come to find out, I'm not even on the all-star team and I can't control anyone. I just have to watch the game. The rosters are all this year's current all-star players.

This didn't happen with my original player though so I'm thinking it's new after these patches? I'm a bit ticked off because I wanted to win the all-star MVP award but guess that's not going to happen now.

Anyone else come across this?

Yep and not to mention two of my three myplayers got the injury scene right at the all star break as well.

Yeah happened to me a long time ago. I thought it glitched because I had just got that injury cut scene days before the AS game.

Happened to me in my 2nd season.

This is a legacy bug... it is proof that 2k17 is just 2k14 with upgrades because it has been happening since 2k14.

All-Star Bugs that carry over with each game:

- You get injured right before All Star
- One of the games (dunk contest, 3pt, etc.) gets skipped
- You make the all-star team, but don't get to play.
