Can you hire/fire coaches in franchise mode? I want to play only as a GM and play CPU vs CPU. Thanks.

Also, can you set/adjust play style preference such as a run heavy team actually running more than passing and vice versa.

I haven't play a Madden game in like 10 years.

Yes you can hire and fire coaches. There are no coordinators so there are the 32 coaches and a few generics in the game. My understanding as individuals retire the game generates new people to select from.

You can adjust your playbook, customize a playbook (add that using the 'Advanced' button when you're getting ready to start a game) and edit your team's scheme
