www.ClutchMoment.comFor any fans that remember MLB Showdown that ran from 2000-2005, we are releasing a fantasy baseball card game called Clutch Baseball 2017. Ultimately Showdown was cancelled because Topps signed an exclusive deal, and the game died. It had incredible potential, but was riddled with loopholes and inaccuracies. We have created formulas that are mathematically sound with statistics, and the dice. You can build your own 25 man roster using a salary cap, choose a home stadium, and build a strategy deck. We hope to bring tournament life to the game if possible. We have plans to release a mid-season set with all star players, players traded, legendary players, stadiums, and historic teams.

Man I use to play Showdown non stop. Made some cards and everything.

I wish I had more time, but really cool to see that type of game come back. Have you ever thought about making a digital version? Kind of like an OOTP lite?

That is our goal. As of right now we are just releasing the cards to play, with a scoring app. The app would be extremely complex, and we still need to see how well the game sells. Hopefully we can build a big enough audience that our game can slowly grow over the next few years, and obtain full rights and a full functional app!

Showdown ended in 2005. The White Sox won the World Series in 2005. Good thing Clutch Baseball is coming out soon!
