Is there a difference in player regression depending on if you pick coach or owner?

As an owner you can sign trainers that impact regression. But I haven't noticed it doing anything.

unlikely. I'm an owner and signed a trainer with "world class regression"

Old guys still go down 3-4 overall every year. Not even that old actually, I have a 32 year old corner who lost 4 speed in one year due to "age"

The year end regression is constant. 2 players of the same age, position, and development trait will lose exactly the same stats every time. The trainer seems to affect in season regression, i.e. someone might lose 2 points to carry for fumbling twice, but it might not happen every time they fumble twice.

I thought the only effect the trainer had was injury length and the negative impact to attributes for playing through the injury- A better trainer making it less likely for long term injuries and instead of getting spd awr inj -15 for playing while injured it would be something like -7 or 8 instead
