New title updates catering to MUT players...

I was thinking about starting up a franchise again as we neared playoff time but after the last 2 title updates have been geared more towards the MUT game mode I think I will just keep playing MUT. Do you guys think there will be any BIG CFM updates? Because up to this point I haven't really seen one other than the "formation subs" patch which was ultimately broke.

I think any substantial updates for CFM mode are done.

This sounded so similar to what I am doing. I'm sparingly playing MUT (just completed the passing gauntlet last night and my team went from 81OVR to 84OVR with 4 different completed chemistries). But it doesn't give me that team growth and development feel that CFM should do... even CFM doesn't give me that feeling.


So playing MyGM on 2K for my CFM kick and going back to MUT for a football fix.

Try a 32 man online CFMs. Things like the punt issue aren't a problem with user punters, and QB accuracy is negated a bit by bad human reads. It really does make the game play perfectly fine.

Well and the sliders are also broken. They just dont care at all about the offline community.

Basically gotta try anything that works for you. I personally have deleted the game took my net connection off and didnt let it update.

Without the patches or tuners the sliders actually work. Now of course all the problems from the base game are coming out.

AND they combined sliders and tuner data now, so I cant delete the game and get no patch but load tuner data anymore.

It really is very silly.

Wait, why wouldnt CFM get something else this year? I thought they said Franchise was a focus this year? As well , what about this continual dev cycle they keep harping so much on? Surely the app does not count as that, because it should have been ready at launch. Not to mention, somehow i feel like not that many people were working on the app to begin with, so what were the rest of CFM team doing?Im sure they have something else up their sleeve for CFM for M17.

Disagree strongly with perfectly.

Insta sheds from the DL = far too many TFL on runs
WR's warp to passes
Pass speed IMO is too fast in general
HB's lack explosiveness when they get the handoff
Man coverage is still horrible and it's tied in with warping animations by WR's

These are my concerns that are directly related to online CFM

First I would say some of your issues are subjective, see Clint's post about one guy saying DL shed too fast and another too slow. Second, In a online CFM everyone is playing with the same deck of cards, so to point out a flaw is just pointing out a condition that is shared among the players. In a Human vs CPU game those flaws aren't equally shared between the two opponents which is what causes a lot of the issues.

I am part of MBL and we have had only a few minor issues with the game play. As I said, a lot of that is because users basically never play a CPU opponent. You can complain about personal preferences on certain aspect but it plays the same for both teams in a 32 man online CFM.
