Possibly new tip for taking charges

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this tip already. I saw a youtube video and the guy said to double tap the charge button right when they make contact instead of holding it. I'm still trying to get my timing right to get in front of the cpu, but I'm in the 1st quarter and have 2 charges already! It seems like you will get more charge calls this way, instead of the cpu bumping past you or getting a blocking foul. There is a certain timing to the double tap, though. It won't work if you do it too early or too late. I ended up with 5 charges that game, and that is with me not having great timing to get in front of the cpu.

So I got HOF charge card on the 15th charge. I really did not think this would ever be possible. Wow.

Possible to show a video with the timing? I'm 30 games into my season on my LDD and only have 2 charges so far.

You play online much? I'm always looking to run with more lockdown defenders.

I do, but Lockdown Defender is my 3rd player that I play with, with PG Playmaker and SF Point Forward being my main two. Had a top 30 Pro-Am team at one point in 2K16 without using any of the metas like 2 7'3 Centers or whatever the flavor of the month was.. I was just a PG with court vision who could get into the lane at any time surrounded by shooters. This year we've hovered around the 100-300 ranking (37-8 record) due to inconsistent play time from members and lack of skill defense wise by teammates.. Hard to win games when every game is an uphill battle because teammates giving up 25-30 a game.

I made LDD just because I had some VC to spend and wanted to try something new and was always intrigued by LDD because while I'm an average on-ball defender, I think I'm a very good off ball defender. I mostly use him as a Walk On player rather than using him in games that matter because I don't trust anyone else I play with to handle the ball. Hell, my LDD has become quite the point forward because of the rebounding skills and being able to turn rebounds into assists.

I need to try this, only 2 charges into 60 games, computer would just slide past me or not even register the screen.
