Inside Scoring Attribute Upgrades (Advice for final upgrades - sharpshooter))
Can anyone help explain what the Inside Scoring upgrades actually help with? I’m trying to decide how to allocate my final 3 Attribute Upgrades.
Mainly: will upgrading post control, post hook, post fadeaway help with the short inside shots that I consistently miss in traffic? Or only formal backdown post moves? Would "close shot" be the attribute increase I'm really looking for (already maxed out).
MyPlayer is a 6’8” 220 lb sharpshooter, 94 overall. I’m not a particularly skilled player, I usually play in myPark with 1 or 2 stretch big friends or randoms. I generally spot up for 3s, like passing and moving the ball on offense, occasionally driving in for a dunk; on defense I like to be able to guard both bigger or smaller guys.
Everything is maxed out except Inside Scoring, Strength, and Rebounding.
Inside scoring – currently 3 bars - Post Fadeaway, Post Hook, Post Control – I can upgrade from 50 to 54/57/60
I don’t do actual post moves much – if this won’t help with short shots in traffic after rebounds, there’s not much point. I tried purchasing a boost and the +5 didn’t seem to help much.
Strength – currently 2 bars - 40 to 44/48/50
This seems pointless. I have the bruiser badge and can generally body up and guard guys just fine. Maybe it could help running through traffic, although I already have pick dodger.
Rebounding – currently 6 bars - Box Out / Off Rebounding / Def Rebounding could improve from 61 to 63/65-66/66-67.
I noticed definite improvement with prior upgrades. If I don’t go for inside scoring, I may just dump them into rebounding even though the rating upgrades are small.
