MYGM - Expansion Team w/Created Players Please help

Hey guys,

So i basically want to do a MyGM game mode with an expansion team in Baltimore. Ive created a bunch of players and have added them to free agency and some to other teams. But as soon as i get into the Expansion draft the players arent there or they are protected. Is there anyway to put created players on your expansion team. Have tried all afternoon different ways. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
