Couch Co-op Passing Options?

I'm playing 2k16, new to the series. Started a MyGM with a friend playing couch coop.

Every time you pass the ball the person who passed it auto switches to the receiver. So the only way to get the ball to the person you're playing co-op with is to specifically pass to their controlled player. It's super annoying. Is there an option to make it like Fifa where the other person automatically becomes the receiver? It is awkward passing to myself all game when I'm trying to play co-op...

No you can't.
Playing also a lot in coop with a friend, the best thing is that one of you is locked on the PG (best option imo, or the best player in the team) for the entire game. This can be fun also for the guy who is "locked" and your objective could be to make him become the new MVP
