how the hell do i use my shot creator?

i have no idea how to score effectively with him, im ending up playing the role of a playmaker getting 10 assists per game. i really cant get this shooting off the dribble thing to work. someone explain to me like im a 4 year old just how to play with a shot creator.

Mannn I can go all day about this.

1. Get all of your upgradeable badges on Hall of Fame. Especially Difficult Shots, a Tireless Scorer, and Midrange Deadeye.

2. Obviously max out Midrange, and Shot off Dribble. Max out everything but those are most important. (At least to me)

3. Some other badges I recommend getting is corner specialist, deep range deadeye, catch and shoot.

I don't use Spin Jumpers all the time. They aren't 100% like some people say. I miss them frequently. HOWEVER, equip Curry Hop Jumper. Probably the most effective one. I get people 80% of the time with it. People don't know how to guard it. You can ask ViolenceFight, he'll tell you. It NEVER gets old.

When I score I use the hop jumper a lot. Usually what I'll do is do a size-up crossover (you have to know how to dribble, if you want to be able to create your shots, obviously) go a certain direction and as soon as I go one way I hit them with a sidestep and shoot. Always complete the hop jumper animations. On fast break when I'm ahead of a defender I some times step back into the corner (3 or midrange doesn't matter/ corner specialist helps with this as well as difficult shots and tireless scorer) and shoot.

Leaners? I use when I beat my defenders off the dribble. That's pretty much it.

I use floaters sometimes too. Rare, though.

Spin jumper? I use Normal 4, it's very similar to Normal 1 on 15 which was super OP. I use it to create space for a midrange shot.

Definitely max out shot off dribble first and your playmaking skills so you can be somewhat fast with the ball. My favorite dribble pull up is Lance Stephenson. It's quick and very easy to get green releases with. I got difficult shots using that jumper on my shot creator and Slasher. Use a lot of pick and rolls to get open. It's actually a great build once you get some badges for it. The hop jumper I use is Ben Maclemore and I get green releases all day.
