Firing my HC

So I finished my season and am in stage 2 of the offseason...

How come I can't fire my HC yet? I play on owner mode and I'm going into the staff second and it won't let me fire my head coach.

Can someone help me please?

I had the same issue and after some Googling, I think I figured out that you can't fire your staff during the offseason. Wait until preseason or the start of the next season and you should be able to do it.

I can't say I agree with the design decision, but I believe this model is in place to make it more realistic like "Black Monday" as it prompts you to make coaching changes right after the last regular season game has been played. I also noticed that the cpu will auto-fill vacancies if you forget to fire/hire before the offseason.

After week 17 you'll get the "Re-sign Staff" option. It's then that you can go in and fire coaches. Hit square in that screen.
