Pass fake while driving

Every time I try this, my player just loses the ball immediately. Am I doing something wrong?

Try pressing the shoot button immediately after the fake. Time it as if you were trying to chain a layup to your pass fake.

How is it done?? In 2k16 I would try it by pressing fake pass while driving but it would never trigger for me. Haven't tried it this year, is it still the same?

Yeah it's still the same. If you go to the shot stick immediately after the pass fake, it'll turn into a layup.

You can pass out of it too by hitting A, but you have to be really quick. When I get it by accident I usually don't react quickly and lose the ball but when I'm doing it intentionally there's time to shoot or pass afterwards.

If someone could get a video of them pulling it off, I'd love to see it in this thread.

It's damn near impossible and I like to think I have above average to great stick skills.

I've given up on it, but I'd love to see some footage of people pulling it off.

As of right now it's too risky for me to try in game situations. Success rate is too low.

if you arent in the proper position it will just do a weird euro and lose the ball randomly off their leg. it's really annoying, but if you are in position to finish with a layup you can press fake pass>shot stick or shot button immediately and it will go for a shot attempt


appears inside the free throw line is where it turns into a shot rather than euro stepping randomly into a loose ball
