Tips to maximise MT gain in Domination?

This is my first year playing MyTeam, so apologies if this is a noob question, but MT gain in Domination seems so variable from game to game that I'm wondering how to ensure enough to meet the requirements.

I've been playing with the target of scoring at least 15 points per quarter and trying to play good defense, and for the most part that works well enough. Sometimes I'll get close to 1000mt, yet sometimes I'll only get 750.

I just won 71-51 and only got 766mt for it, which is nearly 100 off the requirements. I wouldn't be surprised if I beat them in a much closer game next time and met the requirements comfortably. It just seems random. I'm sure it's not, I just don't really understand what I need to be doing.

Do fouls and turnovers negatively affect MT gain, because that's two areas I know I need to improve.

Biggest thing for you might hv been free throw and 3 point bonuses that get added at the end of the game. That's probably what's causing the fluctuations for you.

You need to attempt minimum 5 3pt shots to get the bonus. Better the % better the bonus.

For ft it's minimum 10 attempts. Again better the % better the bonus.

Also, your fg% also gives you a bonus at the end. I'd suggest always getting those 3pt and ft bonuses. 3pt is obv easy to get but it's a little challenging to go to the line 10 times per game.

I think the free throw bonus might have been my issue (I shoot plenty of three pointers). Made an effort to get to the line in the last game and finished with 1126mt! That's probably an anomaly, but I definitely think I'm on the right track. Thank you ajg52801.

Just play fast, it doesn't matter if the other team scores a lot, as long as you score more. Winning 75-70 is better than winning 60-40... the more you score, the more MT you get. I currently miss only the final game of Historic Domination, and I've basically destroyed every team and got at least 1k MT just by playing fast.

Damn. I constantly get 800-850 MT, sometimes 750, and when I score 50+ I feel like it's a great day at the gym for me. Stuck on the Bulls though, finally beat them but didn't even crack 600MT so I didn't get even a single star (first game I've won without earning all three stars). I've burned almost half my contracts on these goddamn Bulls.

Post hooks are easy to green release and they actually give you the +5 bonus twice. Same with second chance +4 bonus

Completed Historic last night with ease, over 1000MT most games and only one game took me more than 1 try
