This year's game feels REALLY rushed...

You can definitely tell the extra month they didn't have lead to a lot of bugs and incomplete features. The core game and it's central ideas are great but there are so many things not working correctly or kind of done half asked that it spoils things a little bit.

The first major patch will have to be a BIG one.

I agree, the gameplay is an improvement but it's clear that the game was rushed out as there are so many bugs and features that straight up dont work.

I hope the first patch comes QUICK.

Go play the NHL series by EA and you will understand how light-years ahead is NBA2K compared to any other annual sport iterations.

The game was rushed? They moved the release date back by almost a month, so yeah...common sense says that would had to rush to make release.

Personally, I'm impressed by what was done in the shorter cycle.

I'm glad I'm playing something now rather than just 2k16 again.

I'm having so much fun atm, however I'm definitely looking forward to the patch.

I was really glad they tied attribute upgrades to practicing in practice modes until i realized a lot of the time it glitches with a player picking up the ball to throw to you or loops you setting your feet in freethrows until you close app and start mode over again. I've done easily double the practices i'm getting credit for since I have to keep starting them over.

The blue screen of death as I call it is my big one. That's border line beta stages. I agree. Luckily the game plays so well on the court I will let it slide.

Without details on kind of "things" were rushed its hard to say. And last year early release was on Sep. 25, so its 9 days, not a month, no?
