Re: So what exactly entails shoot off dribble?

It's your ability to shoot coming around a screen, stopping on a dime, draining a shot off of a stepback, etc, without experiencing a drop off in accuracy...

This needs a dev response or in game attribute description. Good question.

Re: So what exactly entails shoot off dribble?

Anything where you are ball handling then go straight into your shot......

Examples: pull-ups (no huggies), step backs, spin shots, hop shots, hesi-shots, and size-up shots

Yea it's what Triple and others have said. Your ability to stop on a dime from dribbling and shoot. Step backs, spin shots, hops, hesitations, etc.

It's not as simple as it seems. In 2k16, the equivalent was the Moving Shot ratings, which were proven to only kick in when a player was making extreme movements such as fadeaways, stepbacks, or floaters. Single dribble, pull up jumpers were still using the Standing Shot ratings.

It'd be nice to know if the new Off Dribble ratings are the ones used after a single dribble now.

Only way to truly know is when the game comes out, I guess create a player and give him lowest possible shot rating and 99 off dribble shot and see what goes in during which dribbling situation
