Legends in MyTeam available in other modes?

With the news of no new classic teams, a feature that would absolutely please the community (especially roster makers) would be to create a free agency like pool for historic/legend players from MyTeam.

Players that are not in historic teams but are available to use in MyTeam would be extremely fun to use for die-hard/longtime basketball fans whether its a roster created by the community or even just having the ability to play with them in practice/blacktop mode.

Im not talking about MVP Cards, Diamonds, etc.

Im talking about players to name a few Rick Barry, Grant Hill, Jason Kidd, Bob Cousy. You get the point.

I and along with many people would be willing to spend money on a DLC.

Better yet, a great idea would be to have the ability to UNLOCK these players using VC. Kind of like a previous 2k game where you had to unlock players for use in blacktop.

But it would be great to be able to manipulate, edit ratings, put on real teams these players.

Leaving the players only available in MyTeam which a completely competitive(cheese-fest) mode kind of does not use them to their full potential.

Maybe 2k thinks that making these players available outside of MyTeam would make users not want to grind or play MyTeam. Having them exclusive in MyTeam, makes players stay in the mode( MyTeam is one of 2ks modes that brings revenue in from people spending millions of VC)

But 2k should understand how much their community re-creates historic rosters and how popular they are. Instead of trying to take money out of our pockets in MyTeam, they should consider making ALL players available for use in roster editing/black-top

Re: Legends in MyTeam available in other modes?

I was watching YouTube videos of the other game's Myteam mode and the thing that stood out to me and I wish 2k was better at is making the player models look accurate to the years in which the player model is based on. As a LeBron fan I was extremely happy that there were 3 different versions of LeBron in 2k16, but watching this video with 2003-2004 Rookie LeBron and I'm impressed by the likeness to Rookie LeBron and they even have the correct tattoos and slimmer bodytype along with the Nike Zoom Generation on his feet. Then you look at the 2013 Heat LeBron in 2k16 and you see that it's just his 2016 Cavaliers player model with a headband added. The 2007 Cavaliers LeBron player model looked pretty accurate with the right tattoos and slimmer bodytype but generic 2k shoes, and the same generic 2k shoes for the 2013 Heat LeBron as well. My problem with the Myteam players are a lot of them are just the current 2k16 player models but supposed to be different years all together. As you can see from this video of the other game...

Rookie LeBron is pretty on point in terms of accuracy. I would love it if 2k took notes and did the same.

Oh yes, please. I could definitely use some Jalen Rose in my teams.
