Not enough punishment!

I think people are still not punished enough for throwing too many strikes. I usually have people perform 100 to 200 more strikes than me. Their stamina should be quite a bit lower than mine but I still don't see that. Pretty frustrating, I don't know what the answer is but I think it should be tweaked!

Exactly.
Stand up striking is unbalanced now:
you can not to make guaranteed punishment (u even dont have enough advantage for this) for opponent's large fouls, so you can not to play effectively from defense (turtle style) because after u gain strike advantage (counter window) by parry , sway - the opponent just backpedal immediately w/o chance to punish especially for short range fighters.
Slowing backpedal during counter window may solve this easily:

Re: Not enough punishment!

Ground game is even worse! You can spend a whole round on the ground with plenty of transitions and reversals and you just lose a tiny bit of stamina. Stamina is def broken!

On the other hand it's quite difficult to knock people out in the first round. So if you take away more stamina the amount of dicisions would increase which would be boring.

What's even worse is when someone normally throws over 100 a round and ends up with more stamina than opponent.

It baffles me, but I don't mind it because I'm a volume striker.

I would love nothing more than to take Johny Hendricks or Yoel Romero and drag someone around the mat for a few rounds, gas the **** out of them, then finish them standing (or with ground n pound) when i have a huge stamina advantage.

Right now, only way to try and gain stamina advantage is standup --- it aint right !

Not as great as it SHOULD be, but blocking someone when they attempt to transition with no stamina hits their permanent stamina :/ You can still do this lol

I've done it in quick fight a few times and ranked. More so in quick fight because they left in ranked.

haha yea --- I mean it's technically in there but like you said it's not enough. Probably needs a 200% increase, maybe 300% increase to permanent stamina drain, and I'm not being too over the top I don't believe!!

The way it is now...you'd have to deny a top level person like 20 times per round to actually make a significant difference in the stamina matchup between you two.

Good luck, especially with lag
