Question for franchise mode and Auto-Pilot

I am hoping to accomplish a 32 team control league, I know that I have to create a profile for each league, I am hoping to have an owner for my team the vikings, and everyone else will be in auto pilot mode. If other teams are in auto pilot mode does that mean that their depth charts and transactions will be completed by the CPU? I would like to try and keep the rosters as accurate as possible throughout the season.

P.S.
is there anyway to manually injure your players, similar to MLB the show and 2k, in franchise mode?

Thanks

I believe CPU teams will still make moves on auto pilot, although I'm not 100% certain. Also, you cannot injure players on Madden. All you can do is take them off the depth chart.

Re: Question for franchise mode and Auto-Pilot

I simmed through a season with 4 teams on auto pilot + my user team and they all were simulated the same as the CPU teams so far as I could tell. Of course, you can always go in and take them off auto pilot long enough to set the depth charts or any other things you want to make sure are done right.

I also found that the problem of too many early retirements for high-profile players (Tom Brady, notably) is easy enough to fix via player editing if you're going for full realism or close to it. I turned a veteran punter into Brady rather easily.

On a side note, I also tested out the relocation feature with the Chargers and moved them to Los Angeles. I found it very interesting that when I built a new stadium in L.A. for the Chargers the Rams played in the same stadium. Rather surprised EA managed to get that detail correct.

thanks. I was wondering if when you make formation subs and change depth charts - if you then set cpu teams to auto-pilot, do all ur changes reset after you simulate a week of games ?

thanks

I'm not sure, TBH. I didn't get around to checking in that sort of detail.
