I have been a reader of Operation Sports for as long as I can remember and a long time gamer of MLB The Show series. I’ve played close to 300 games of this years edition of The Show between Play Now, RTTS, Franchise, and Diamond Dynasty. I feel I have a set of sliders that play out realistic and offer authenticity. These sliders are tried, true and tested for Play Now, Franchise and Season. They are
constructed to mimic real life baseball while providing an enjoyable and rewarding game experience. Please understand
these sliders are not guaranteed to be a cake walk, everything is worked for and you have to play as you would if this were real life.
I stream nearly every game I play, so you’re more than welcome to check out the gameplay and I’ll post box scores as often as I can.
Thanks for checking out my sliders and I hope you enjoy them. I’m always here for questions, comments and constructive criticism. Best of luck to you guys!
Sliders Are Constructed To Achieve
Realistic ball to strikes ratio, foul balls, hits and runs via singles, doubles and home runs. Be careful when pitching. Pitching on the edges are smart and be more inclined to not just consistently throw strike after strike. Be willing to throw balls to set up hitters etc. Theses sliders are also made to give a realistic IP/game as you’ll see less complete games and relievers pitching innings more in line as they should. As a human player, you will be tasked with strategizing and managing a game like its suppose to be; pitch hitting, pulling starters, bullpen etc.
You’d be better off playing to the strengths of your ball club and make the proper play at the proper time.

House Rules (User Preference)
- No sponsors, as the AI teams are not afforded this luxury.
- If you want the artist rendition bio pictures, start your franchise with a fantasy draft, then hot circle and back out. Rosters will still be intact.
-
No beginning of the inning mound visits.
-
Because pitch display is off, your allowed once every inning to view you and your opponents pitch count to determine stamina.
- Whether 30 team control or not,
trade with AI teams who have players on trading block.
User ONLY allowed 4 trades in season, 4 trades in off season where you can seek a trade not associated with players on trading block. AND if CPU rejects trade, you can not revisit that trade for one week and it counts against your (4) allowed no trading block trades.
-
ONLY ONE in season change to coaching staff allowed.

If any questions, please comment, respond, or PM me. I'd be more than willing to help you understand why sliders are set to a specific number or help configure a number that suits you better. Like I said I'm always open to constructive criticism. If you see patterns, or something that may need refining please let me know. Below I'll show screenshot of hitting/pitching view.
Hitting View: Gives accurate mound to plate distance. Allows you to track the ball in and decipher the pitch type and location.

Pitching View: Makes it a little more difficult to throw strikes (i found that a closer view made it easier).
