2k - legends pool

I wish 2k would just make a legends pool, similar to that of free agents, with all the legends from myteam since they are already in the game anyways.

This would make lots of 2k fans happy, and give the roster customization that many users have wanted for a long time.

Seems simple no?.. Or even bring back decade teams.

I say this every chance I get. I don't understand why they don't let us use these guys outside of myteam. It would save roster makes so much time making caps and add more authenticity to the rosters. Haven't been able to use a real Jason Kidd (my second favorite player ever behind MJ) since 2K13.

Though I feel like there must be some reason why they haven't made this a thing yet. Kind of like how Barkley has agreed to only be available for the Dream Team, maybe 2K only has the rights to use these players for a certain mode(s). Like if they're not on a classic team then they can't be used for offline modes.

Idk, just speculation on my part. I know they've heard us say this a lot on OS. But again, there has to be a reason we haven't had this option.

I too say this a lot to anyone who would listen, they really need to do it. The only reason I think they don't do it is because MyTeam brings a lot in terms of VC buys etc. So to make these exclusive to MyTeam where people are more likely to buy VC to open packs and get these cards so they actually can use em in game. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much into it LMAO I don't know

I mean honestly most the guys people want in packs are players that are already in the game on classic teams. Casual fans don't care for Darius Miles or Manute Bol or Keith Van Horn. They want MJ and Shaq and those guys. Jason Kidd and Grant Hill are the only real superstars I can think of off the top that aren't on a classic team and only available in myteam. I'm sure I'm forgetting others but still. A legend pool would make my day.

Yep, would love to have this as an addition to the classic teams.

So frustrating knowing 2k have the rights to Kidd, Grant Hill etc ect yet we can't use them outside of specific modes.

It's almost like a wasted resource to get these players' rights only to limit them to MyTeam. But I can see why they would want to have some MyTeam exclusive players, could boost VC sales.

I would gladly give them however much for VC that they wanted to be able to add them to the free agent pool or legend pool.. **** myteam. Some of us don't buy the damn game to see random players, on random courts, in random jerseys.

I could see them letting you unlock some of these players ( Kidd, Hill, Bol, etc.) for VC so you could drop them in the free agent pool. I'd be down for that. I mean it should be free but it's all about the VC.
