Your opinion on the Judges Scoring

Its no secret I hate the way scoring is implemented in this game. Dominating a fight and scoring higher fight stat totals on every stat and still losing a decision is bS.

honestly i feel like UFC 2 has better judging than most every EA Fighting game before it lol

it aint perfect by any means, but neither is 'real life' judging

i'd say 75% or 80% of decisions I'm involved in, win or loss, are appropriate...maybe not perfect but appropriate.

There are definitely a few BS ones of course but like I said, there are a lot of those in real life too so kinda hard to complain haha

I think it's decent. The two things I think that would help the most would be fixing significant strikes and giving some credit for rocking an opponent.

There are some aspects of judging in the game that are complete BS. Like I found out recently that when you block a take down the judges score that in your favor. Under the unified rules blocked take downs should not be scored for either fighter but for some strange reason in the game blocking take downs scores you points. If they have implemented that who know what other wacky nonsensical scoring they have implemented.

U do get scored for defending a takedown.

I once outscored someone in every possible aspect and still lost. I don't have a God's honest clue how I lost it. The strikes landed was something stupid, like 270 to 73. I even got a 50-45 to me, and the fight still ended in a split, with 48-47 to him. I didn't understand how that happened whatsoever.

If there was one loss I'd want overturned, it would definitely be that.

At first it was ok but now more and more I'm seeing crazy decisions in this game by the judges. I would not mine a tweak to the scoring system in the next patch. There's to many fight I control in every aspect but still lose. It happens a lot more on the red side then blue side I notice but that could just be me.

Its funny u mention corner colors as i always felt that the red side was favored by the judges in FNC also. Maybe its an EA thing...


A judging revamp would awesome if they could patch it in.
