Official: Kevin Durant signs deal with Warriors

(Oklahoma City) - Kevin Durant is joining the Golden State Warriors.

Saying he has experienced "by far the most challenging few weeks in my professional life," Durant announced his decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder on MondayDurant is expected to sign a two-year, $54.3 million contract, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein. The deal will include a player option after the first year.

"The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player -- as that has always steered me in the right direction," Durant wrote. "But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth.

Sources: Oklahoma City Thunder agree to send Ibaka for Oladipo on draft night

(Oklahoma City) - The Orlando Magic acquired forward Serge Ibaka in a multiplayer trade Thursday night with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder received combo guard Victor Oladipo, forward Ersan Ilyasova and the rights to power forward/center Domantas Sabonis, who was taken with the 11th pick in the NBA draft.

"Serge [Ibaka] is a young veteran who brings tremendous athleticism and toughness to our frontcourt," Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said. "His tireless work ethic and wealth of playoff experience will help enhance our culture and roster. We thank Victor [Oladipo] for all of his contributions both on the court and in the community. We wish him and Ersan [Ilyasova] the best of luck in the future." Sources say the reason why Thunder traded Ibaka was because they were reluctant from signing him to a max extension deal.

Sources: Thunder agree to a deal with SF/SG Alex Abrines

(Oklahoma City) - The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to sign forward/guard Alex Abrines to a three-year deal worth $18 million. Abrines, 22, was selected 32nd overall by the Thunder in the 2013 draft but remained with FC Barcelona for the past three seasons. Last season, he won the Euroleague Rising Star award (top under-22 player in Europe), topping 76ers lottery pick Dario Saric for the honor. Past winners include Ricky Rubio, Danilo Gallinari and Nikola Mirotic.

Sources: Dion Waiters not returning to Thunder; signs with Heat

(Oklahoma City) - Waiters and the Heat have agreed to a two-year contract worth $6 million with a player option in the second year of the deal. Waiters would receive an additional bonus if he is traded.

Waiters averaged 9.8 points for the Oklahoma City Thunder last year, but had several big games in the playoffs. His offensive burst with the second unit helped the Thunder keep pace when stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook needed rest, and his aggressive mentality fit well with a bench unit that needed some force.

(Oklahoma City) - Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a deal with signing swingman Gerald Green. The former Slam Dunk champion and D-League MVP is going to be on his ninth team in his ninth year in the league. Green has been widely known fo his incredible dunks and extreme vertical. Green is expected to come off the bench splitting time with Anthony Morrow at the guard position.
