The best (coolest) words, terms and phrases

Ok....as an anti-thesis to the "most annoying word, terms, phrases" thread, though I'd try this one.

I'll start it off with "hot as balls" when referring to the weather. Heard it recently in the movie "13 Hours" and it just flows and fits.

As far as single words, I've always like "spew". Like when you spit. It's spot on.

First heard spew in Wayne's World. "If you're gonna spew, spew in this."

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

My favorite words are any that are similar to cockamamie, donnybrook, fuddyduddy, flibbertigibbet, gobbledygook, hootenanny, lickety-split, lollygag, mollycoddle, namby-pamby, skedaddle, tallywacker.

Dingbat. First used it as a nickname for my dog for when he wouldn't get the ball that went right past him. I then started applying it to 90% of people I encounter every day. It's worked out well. Great word.
