SkyTrak and The Golf Club

Affordable in home golf simulation for less than $3k. SkyTrak costs about $2k and used for around $1500. The Golf Club game license costs $500/year or $1k for a life time membership. A good hitting mat, net and projector can be found for $500-$1000 total, depending on quality.

You can play online and work on your golf swing with SkyTrak's Driving Range feature, which measures ball speed, shot shape, side/back spin, launch angle and face angle.

Given what it is, I say that is very affordable. Affordable don't always translate to low price.

Man - that would be awesome. It'd be better if my basement wasn't so small, I'd have to swing like this:

For golf nuts that live in climates where it can snow 4-6 months of the year, it probably makes more sense. In that sense, it's more than "a video game using real clubs" and more of a way to practice, which is what I think the system is designed for.
