Re: Build a $15 Superteam to Beat the Warriors

C - Hassan Whiteside - $4
PF - Anthony Davis - $5
SF - Kristaps Porzingas - $2
SG - Bradley Beal - $2
PG - Mike Conley - $2

Board and blocking enforcer domination in the front court with Whiteside plus scoring and rebounding from stud Anthony Davis, legit volume scorer in Bradley Beal, Conley a legit front line PG and the freakish height and shooting and some rebounding with Porzingas at the SF position.

Not a bad squad at all.

Re: Build a $15 Superteam to Beat the Warriors

LeBron - $7
Favors - $3
Conley - $2
Gobert - $2
Danny Green - $1

Not a lot of shooting but the only way to beat the Warriors is to slow the pace to a crawl anyway.

Gonna nitpick and say that if this were realistic, Lebron's salary would max out at $4 and that opens up a ton more opportunity.

By my count, the Warriors have 2 $7 players (Durant and Steph), a $5 player (Dray) and a $4 player (Klay). Yikes.

Re: Build a $15 Superteam to Beat the Warriors

PG- Mike Conley- $2
SG- JR Smith- $1
SF- Paul George- $4
PF- Chris Bosh- $3
C- Demarcus Cousins- $5

Gonna run things through Big Cuzz. Draymond doesn't stand a chance guarding him. So the Warriors won't be able to go with the small ball lineup as much. He'll have the whole team in foul trouble by half time. Lol

Got Bosh to help keep the floor spread for Boogie. He could take advantage of smaller players attempting to defend him. He also has better lateral movement than most bigs, and good length allowing him to switch out on the numerous screens set by GS.

Paul George is a great fit. Need that go to scorer on the perimeter, knock down three point shooter and he's an excellent 1 on 1 defender.

JR Smith provides knock down shooting on the perimeter and can go off any night. He also has shown that he can play some damn good defense, especially against these Warriors.

Mike Conley brings it on both ends.

Overall, we have shooting from every position on the floor. Good inside out game with Cousins and Bosh down low and shooters on the perimeter. And the only person defensively we'd have to worry about is Cousins. Everyone else can switch on the screens.

Re: Build a $15 Superteam to Beat the Warriors

$2 Mike Conley
$1 Avery Bradley
$5 Kawhi Leonard
$4 Paul Millsap
$2 Pau Gasol

Conley is the classic point man, looking to intitiate plays rather than score first. A pesky defender too, though its tough to defend the speedsters at the point.
Avery Bradley is the finest defender at guard in the NBA. A capable shooter too.
Kawhi Leonard is the do everything man at forward.
Paul Millsap will set full-contact screens, rebound, score, and play a one-man zone.
Pau Gasol will swing from high to low post. He'll pass and exhibit a genius level IQ. I'm not crazy about today's center crop and Gasol just beat out the underrated Nikola Vucevic for this spot.
