Where is Edwin Diaz?

Can someone enlighten me as to why he is not in the game yet? He was called up over a month ago an has been dominating the league in that time frame (30 K's in 14 innings). I've been anxious to add him to my DD team. It seems like an awfully long time. 4 roster updates have come and gone since his call-up.

I think part of the blame falls on him, he has some responsibility to fill out the MLBPA paperwork in a timely fashion and seems to have not done that yet. I remember last year Janikowski (the SD outfielder) was a September call up I believe and never filled out his paperwork so he wasn't in the game until this year

By time he gets around to filling out the paperwork (I thought you were automatically in the MLBPA just by being on the roster?) he will be like an 80-82 ovr and I wont be able to buy low on him fml.

No, you have to submit paperwork to the MLBPA first before becoming a member. The responsibilty lies with the player and his agent to submit the paperwork.

I don't understand this it's been over 2 months and he has been one of the top RP's in the game in that time and has 18 K/9 on the season. Looks like he may never be added.

It's on him to submit the paperwork, just for example Mike Miller of the Red Sox made his MLB Debut on June 27th and just now got added in this update. And Andrew Benintendi didn't get added either, I feel as though some of the players don't care too much about the paperwork because they're just enjoying their time in the Bigs, hopefully they both get added soon
