Is he worth the grind?

Re: 94 Gaylord Perry

I like him. But SP's only have a 1/5 chance of playing. If you need Santana for Catcher too, it makes it more worth it.

No, there are several silver pitchers I would use over him. Carlos Santana isn't good against righties. if I could go back I definitely wouldn't have wasted my time on the Indians mission.

7.5k in quick sell and reward stubs plus like 35k XP towards captain levels.

I did the Indians because I'm an Indians fan so it was easy but I quick sold Perry after realizing how easy he was to hit and he wasn't a lot of fun to pitch with against CPU

Re: 94 Gaylord Perry

As an Indians fan I completed the mission as well …

I love the standard Santana but can not hit / walk / do anything productive with his 90 card. So that's not a point to get Perry.

Perry himself is ok. Like others said I got better silver / low gold pitchers which get me deep into games. I have him in my rotation since my pen is stacked. His task is to get me into the 6th without imploding. Once the opponent gets a feel for him you need to pull him or the game turns into batting practice.
