This is how I'm approaching editing Rookies

I decided to create a draft class of about 4 rounds worth of players. Some won't be drafted until late or even drafted at all (FBs, Ps, Ks etc). I am "mapping" them at the beginning of each season, so RB David Willis will be mapped as RB Leonard Fournette. As I scout Willis, I will be scouting Fournette in all actuality and will make small attribute / appearance edits as needed after the draft. I probably will change dev trait if a top 10 player comes out as a "Bust" (like Fournette, for example) but other than that I'm not going to modify much.

I tried to list in order of OVR ranking by position, but it's not perfect. Also mixed in JRs and rJRs who I think will declare early. Also threw in a few small-school guys where I could even if there might be 1 or 2 players that could be slightly better. I have 3 full drafts (2017-2019) done like this and will have some players for 2020 draft. Thoughts?

You left out Jalen Hurd from UT. Dude is a beast, I remember playing against him in high school.

He is a beast!! I have him staying another year and being drafted in 2018 as a top-3 back. Too much competition in this upcoming 2017 class in my opinion. I think he and Royce Freeman will stay to improve draft stock.

You're of course free to do what you want but I think backs need to get out ASAP if they can go on Day 2. So much wear and tear on a back's body. Every year matters for them and injury risk is high. I would peg both of those guys as coming out.

Im pretty sure that barring injury, by the end of next football season you will be adding Elijah Hood to the RB corps.

Re: This is how I'm approaching editing Rookies

Nate Gerry and Jordan Westerkamp at FS and WR respectively are two of the higheSt rated returning seniors at their position by quite a few draft guys remarks.

Is Chad Kelly the son of Jim Kelly?

Oh and great list to start off with. I know you'll be getting more and more ideas to add to the list. It'll definitely help me.
