Cycloniac's TrueSim Manager Mode MLB 16 Sliders

In the past, I have been an advocate of CPUvCPU and Coach Mode in other series, so recently, I decided to give Manager Mode a shot in my Yankees Franchise. I've fallen absolutely in love with the mode, and don't see myself playing MLB The Show any other way. I've tested and tweaked these using the Hybrid rosters, which I would definitely reccomend. I use Quick Counts, but these sliders should work well whether you use Quick Counts or not.

Settings

Gameplay Options
Decision Timer: 4 seconds
Batting View: Broadcast
Fielding View: Broadcast

Presentation Options
Presentation Mode: Broadcast

Batter Walkup: Off - This is user preference, but since I use Quick Counts, I find this just helps the game flow better, and makes presentational element transitions make more sense. For example, after an out is made, you'll see a replay, and hear the PA announcer introducing the next hitter, so during that time, the hitter is stepping to the plate. With this on, it'll look like the hitter is JUST making his way to the batter’s box after the replay/presentation element is over.

In-game Ticker: On
- Closed Captioning: Off
- Mode Updates: On/Occasional
- MLB.com Updates - On

Audio
I use the great options available over at the SOTS forums, and find the settings below to give that great broadcast feel.

I just started using your sliders. So far pretty decent. I am using the hybrid V2 roster. I'm seeing decent scoring. My first game was 4 - 11.

Madden fun, but, will not buy another till its next gen only and they get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Just have fun and play :)

Re: Cycloniac's TrueSim Manager Mode MLB 16 Sliders

Hey I love this mode, and really hope these sliders are good. One of the first tests I always do to see how well they work is to stack a team and run a few games. I just think you get a better feel for how accurate they are. A stacked team should be able to regularly beat any other team with some ease. If you could run a few games this way and post the results, that would be awesome.

I wanna buy this game, and really want a cpu vs cpu mode that is kinda accurate.

Thanks.

Do you have a matchup I should try in particular?

All Star team vs Atlanta maybe...

Don't get me wrong, I know that any team can beat any team on a given day. But in that kinda match up, the All Star team should easily win a best of 5.
