OSFM Draft Version

We will be putting out a MLB Draft version of OSFM this weekend. Ill have a better EtA later tonight. Thanks to Boomersooner who partnered with the OSFM team to help bring this to you. Boomersooner's great caps were used as a base and are being added to OSFM. This is based off the previously released 3.5 but features lots more than just draft picks...

- All SCEA added players
- Updated ratings based off Scea updates and updated Milb ratings based off in season performance
-1st Round draft picks added to teams who drafted them... All placed in A ball
-Updated transactions
- updated equip and faces for hundreds of players
-New prospects added
-Milb prospect arms ratings project integrated, this has been a project we were working on for a while to give accurate arm strength to inf and outfielders in Milb so that the guys with the best arms will be noticeably different than the others, plays great and adds more realism... Nothing too dramatic with it but you will see it when you try to run on someone who has a better arm
-tons of fixes and tweaks

Stay tuned!

Re: OSFM Draft Version

Just curious... How do you go about getting ratings for these draft picks? Just thinking that with obviously no minor league numbers to look at and a mix of guys from college and high school putting up different numbers in different leagues with different bats et al...

Its a crap shoot just like any prospect we rate, based off of ratings, scouting reports etc... No diff than rating a minor leaguer with no experience or very little... Sometimes its much easier to get a good actual rating due to the extensive scouting reports out there.... Remember its a video game, we are creating a fantasy video game world based on reality... I found it much easier to rate some of these guys due to all the media out there... Its all about projections

Re: OSFM Draft Version

Will you be adding the Giants 2nd round pick Bryan Reynolds since they didn't have a first round pick? He was rated in many top 30 prospect lists, so he's got 1st round potential. He likely slipped out of concern for him choosing to return to college for his senior season if not drafted by an organization he wanted to go to (pure speculation).

Thanks Ridin! Can't wait to roll with these!

Re: OSFM Draft Version

Ridin, will this set include any SCEA defense adjustments that you contemplated in v3.5?
