Superman Punch.

So why does everyone, and their grandmother have Superman Punches in this game?

It's so absurd, and it's actually laughable.

How often do you really see Superman Punches? But in this game like it's like 60% of the Roster has Superman Punches, but can't throw Overhands...

Makes no sense at all.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

Re: Superman Punch.

Also watching ppl like Eddie alveraz do a superman punch off the cage half way across the octagon just makes me roll my eyes. So dum, I don't get the thinking of why they added so many ppl doing this move off the cage.

Re: Superman Punch.

What annoys me the most about it is how many people have it. I love using Holloway, but one of his technique strikes is the Superman. I don't like using that except for rare occasions. So I have been using him less, when I used to only pick him for FW.

Re: Superman Punch.

It's frustrating to me, because the Overhands are so much better than the Superman Punches IMO. So when I wanna play as someone like Shogun, who devastates guys IRL with Overhands, and has never thrown a Superman punch in life, but has Superman Punches instead of Overhands... it makes me wanna throw the game out the window.

THIS!! Max is my dude, and I rarely use him because his moves just don't feel quite right.

Re: Superman Punch.

I agree with all 3 of you and I wanna add that I think another problem is that there aren't enough strikes in the game in general, something that I'm really hoping would change in UFC 3, I wish for a huge arsenal of strikes for the devs to choose them in the next game, and add them very carefully with a hardcore MMA fan that everyone can vouch for, someone like Dan Hardy, Robin Black or even Jon Anik (best would be Joe Rogan but he ain't got time for that and you don't have to be that much knowledgeable to know who strikes with which techniques)

If not that, then at least let the gamechangers do it, not a random guy who might not even like the sport or his job

Re: Superman Punch.

Not a fan of the back to back to back superman punches either. I've literally seen the majority of all UFC/Pride/Strikeforce/Etc fights, and I've never once seen anyone throw back to back superman punches.

Why are guys able to throw 3 in a row, instantly closing distance?

Re: Superman Punch.

The bad thing is that the Superman punch is one of the only ways to effectively close distance, so I use it a lot more than I'd like to.
