NCAA Football 14, Playcall Exploits....

Hey guys, I'm just wondering are there any plays that no matter what, always bail you out of trouble, or work 80-90% of the time?

For me, my play is:

Ace/ F Pair Twins/ Play-action Bootleg

- Two WR's lined up to the right
- Two TE's on the line of scrimmage to the left
- An offset FB & HB lined up in the "strong" positions
- QB under the snap
- I motion the far left TE to the right, and audible him to block right
- I audible the HB to block left
- Snap the ball, I wait until my TE meets the block w/ the DE, Then I roll out to the right, and throw to the open slot receiver in the corner...its $$$ everytime

I've even gone as far as making sure the play isnt in my playbook so that I'm not ever even tempted to use it. Which works out great for me in the end. But let me know any of your plays if you have any?

Like you, if I had any play that always bailed me out and worked 80-90% of the time, it'd be removed from my playbook. Not because I'd be tempted to use it, but because I know I wouldn't use it so it'd be taking up space for nothing.

There are so many plays that are like 99% successful. Actually, not even plays, I know a bunch of hot routes and audibles that are pretty much guaranteed to get me a completion, and I can march down the field running those every play and score every time. Obviously I don't run these, because it's no fun.

On the defensive side, the best play to run for me has been quarters 2 man under, and show blitz. It stops most runs really well, and is the best defense against pass.

Any play that has play action and either a tight end or wide receiver on a flag route is money 99% of the time. Doesn't matter if it's under center, shotgun, or pistol. If you have a play action fake and a guy on a flag route he'll be open almost every time

It may not work EVERY single time, but HB slip screen is a guaranteed First Down if the Defense isn't expecting it. And when the blocking is right, it can easily go for a touchdown. The cpu abuses it like crazy on third and long.

This is the reason I'm having a hard time getting back into the game. You can't call plays realistically. Most of the pass plays are just too easy to complete for first downs when you need one, and most of the rest are too difficult to complete. The run game is more balanced, but it really sucks that I feel bad when calling a play in a realistic situation, because it works 90% of the time.
