The Big 12 is a disaster
I'm all for a conference championship game but not with 10 teams. That means every championship game is going to be a rematch. Two divisions of five teams and a championship game that will be a rematch just doesn't make sense to me.

To survive the Big 12 needs to add two legit universities and expand back to 12 teams. With that said, there aren't really any teams out there that I see they could add.

I'm so ready for OU to get out of this league. I wish they would have been able to move to the Pac-12 a few years ago.

As a Texas fan, I agree on the Pac-12 move. That was a prime opportunity. I thought we should've left then and I still do. Our administration has mucked up a lot of situations.

I agree, but at least Baylor is good now and could arguably be considered the best football program in Texas. So if the Big 12 dissolves, they should be in a good spot, oh wait...

Didn't the creation of the Longhorn Network start the exodus of teams to the SEC/Pac-10?

I've heard Houston & Memphis are in the mix, & UCF as a third option.

But the I can definitely agree the Big 12 is a disaster. It's so bad I could see how some fans might pine for the days of the old SWC. Which is like hearing my grandad talk about the good old days in the 1930's, & then realising we were in the midst of The Great Depression lol
