Home plate umpire in DD is horrible!

On average, he blows 8-10 strike calls on me. I almost lost a game because of his horrible strike zone. I wish the umps were perfect like I changed in the settings but for some reason, they make mistakes a lot in this mode which I can't stand.

It is super frustrating, but probably quite realistic. Real Umps make mistakes all the time

I kinda like it. I've seen balls 100% in the strike zone called a ball
and 100% out of the zone called a strike.

I'm fine with it, but it is infinitely more frustrating when it happens in Battle Royale where you have way less margin for error.

Sometimes its the connection, not the umpire.. I was playing with a friend online and threw one that on my screen showed a down the middle fastball that was called a ball, and I went crazy and he said that on his screen it almost hit his player..

I don't have PlayStation Plus so I only play offline games.

Do a search on umpire tendencies. The home plate umpire for each ballpark will always be the same.

Youre not miss anything. Playing against other people is an awful experience most of the time. 3 years ago this game was a blast to play online, its gone the way of Madden though. All anyone does is cheese, bunt, steal, bunt, 10 minutes of pauses, Pat Neshek for 3 innings. Just not enjoyable or anything that resembles real baseball.
