New Grappling Momentum Scenarios Coming in EA Sports UFC 2 Patch 1.07

I figured this warranted its own thread to try an increase visibility in the name of fairness.

One of the game changers suggested these new momentum scenarios, and so it seems important to make sure they are very well known by the community.

New momentum scenarios coming in patch 1.07:

1. The escape from submissive MT clinch to SC clinch will now give momentum advantage to the leg grab.

2. The double unders entry to back clinch will now give momentum advantage to the suplex.

3. The reversal to the transition from DOM half guard to mount that leads to top half guard will now give momentum advantage to the SUB fighters arm drag immediately following the reversal.

#1 is by far the most interesting for gameplay.

I'm looking forward to seeing what impact it has on the MT position.

Arm drag? Do you mean the transition from SUB half guard to back sitting?

Also, just to clarify #1, if I was to escape the MT into SC, would I be the one gaining momentum into the leg grab or my opponent?

Thanks!

Because it makes sense in real life, which was always a criteria for these scenarios.

The single and double are off the table as they would likely not be supported in the momentum system without extra work for technical reasons.

So both fighters get leg grab momentum from escape MT to SC?

Or just the MT Sub who escaped?

I figured it's just the person who escaped but wanted to double-confirm haha
