+/- 4 Divisions in matchmaking?

Why such a divide? Wouldn't it just be better to do like last game and limit us to a smaller number? With the +/- 1 belt/division. Then the levels will even themselves out again. Matchmaking already takes a while. That is because of the huge split in divisions. We need less, not more. 6 max. I would even go with 5 and make the 5th division no HUD.

+/- 4 divisions means horrible matchups. A division 1 guy should never face a division 4 guy until they make it to at least division 3 where they might have a chance. However, division 4 against division 7-8 players is like them taking candy from a baby. I'm not bad, but I'm definitely not good enough to play against the division 7 and 8 players.

Fighting for a belt should allow at least a two division jump with matchmaking, but not 4 divisions just to find a match. That will only further kill off the player base.

I think it should be plus or minus one on ranked, everyone in quick match with priority to match close to skill but I'm the end you can fight and division.

Players that pick Bruce Lee in ranked should only get to fight Norris.

Yeah this whole thing is driving me insane.

Once you get a belt in UT, you might as well give up because you're gonna be fighting guy 2-3 Divs higher than you with INSANE stat advantages from there on out.

The other day I won a belt, and MY FIRST fight in div 2 was against a div 4 80 OVR. My fighter was 68 OVR, FIRST FIGHT in div 2......

If it can't find a match in your div, it should keep searching outward until it finds a match. I don't care if it lands on a division 1 vs 8.

I usually look at my opponents stats after a loss. I never thought to check to see what division they fight in. Can you see what division their particular fighter is in somehow?

We had about the same wait times last game as it is. No reason not to revert back to less divisions and a smaller +/-. You only make the player base smaller by making people have to play guys 2 or more divisions higher than them.
