Getting rocked into back side control is unbalanced and needs to go

Getting rocked into back side control needs to go, plain and simple. It's extremely unbalanced in my opinion. This tends to happen after I've rocked my opponent 3-12 times but he's virtually invincible blocking on the feet. He rocks me once with a laggy spin kick and I fall into the "game over position."

1- You try for the quickest transition into side control and it takes like 3 secs, so you eat a punch or two and game over.

2- You block, but one blocked punch still KO's you

3- You block one punch, survive, go for quickest transition into SC, takes 1.5secs, so you eat a punch and get KO'd.

4- You try to block 2 shots then transition, haha no way.

It feels like this is damn near the only way I ever lose, aside from the occasional stud who's just a lot better than me.

I agree, it would he good to have a lot more positions to be in from being hit when you're down

It's definitely over if the guy is good at denying in that position, all I do is try to deny back side and full guard then just get easy baby punches for the ko. Something needs to be done.

Can someone tell me what the hell the animation is where if you throw a kick, your opponent times up a leg kick and you fall, that your opponent can just instantly climb on you in full mount. That happened to me twice today, WTF is that?

The back side control thing just feels extremely unrealistic. You don't see that happen much in real fights, at least not nearly as much as it happens in the game. You should end up in something between full guard and mount depending on stamina and the grappling abilities of the two fighters.

C'mon now. First, you're getting knocked down not "rocked/hurt". If you're getting knocked down, uncommonly is it due to BS in UFC 2. It can be, but it's uncommon. It's usually due to a decent reason. The game doesn't care if you've been winning the fight up until that point, if you did something that opened you up... you got caught, what else is there to say?

I honestly don't feel like it's "one knockdown and it's game over" at all. I survive the majority of my first knockdowns.

Definitely doesn't need to be nerfed.

Re: Getting rocked into back side control is unbalanced and needs to go

Sprawl, Side Controll and Back Side are not good balanced and need a redesign! Even with GA I can hold peolple all day long in Sprawl and sub them, feels very cheap.
In Back Side you can hold people and gnp them very easy, especially if the head is red. In both positions the animations are way to predicteble and slow, so you can counter them much to easy.
That you canīt block in SC and have to spam transitions to not getting hit is a very bad design. Also the fact that you only have two ways to transition out and one leads to sprawl is a a joke. So there is only one working transition out of SC at the moment plus you can hit the Kimura what leads into a submission switch. That not balanced!

So true. Even though in most fights I'm the one winning bc of these mechanisms it feels very cheap. Hit your opponent twice, wait until he wants to make use of his GA, deny transition, and finish him. That's just way too easy, especially because you can't fair transitions properly. Same goes for sprawl.
