I'm interested to get the community's view on this.

What grappling positions would you like to see in the game and why?

For me, my #1 in the double leg against the cage, with entries from ground, clinch and standup.

After that it's not as clear.

I think my #2 would be quarter guard, to help balance mount escapes.

After that things get even less clear to me.

Maybe butterfly guard, but it's really not as common as it was a few years ago.

Smash pass maybe.

I'm interested to read other opinions.

Seated against the cage. (Would actually make the over/under getup here go to seated, then to over/under.) Body lock with the head pressing into their chin. As well as using the shoulder to press them in to the cage to restrict their breathing. This has a chance for the opponent to elbow though, as well as attempt a guillotine. Both should have the guillotine available here though.

One other from me I forgot. The double leg on the ground position.

Where when guys shoot in for a blast double, get it but end up on the ground holding both legs, and the guy who got taken down pressing down on the head.

I think it would be a nice way to add a blast double without it being too OP.

I would also like to see the can opener from full guard for certain fighters. GSP is notorious for this.

Takedown from sprawl position (but really hard to pull off)

double leg takedown from cage is a must

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16jacXJvHi4 (11:20) Wrestlers use this positions all the time (eddie alvarez vs pettis)

Knee on belly and some variations to single collar tie.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but having to work to get your hooks and take someones back would be cool.

Body triangle.

Variations to stacked guard.

I only hope that #1 in the double leg against the cage, with entries from ground, clinch and standup.

and hope added this takedown and then seated against the cage.

Also, I really hope that tweaked the cage wall walking like this gifs :
- First of all, changed the cage walk camera into front view.

- We need to be able to throw punches and elbows to the head and body in seated against the cage.

+ pass to guard, too.

Thank you so much!
