Was I called up too quick?

SLIDERS HAVENT BEEN TOUCHED... AT 50% ON EVERY SLIDER...

So I was drafted 11th overall to Seattle. I played about two months for the AA team Jackson Generals. Was hitting over .450 with 19 HRs, 111 RBIs, 120 Hits, 5 Stolen Bases and so on. Well right after the AA League All Star Game I get the message saying that the Seattle Mariners have purchased your contract and your next game will be this. I just feel I was called up to quick AKA a Mike Zunino situation... Never played one game in AAA. Should I turn the sliders down to make it realistic? Or are the Mariners just that hard up for a First Baseman LOL. Just doesn't seem realistic to have a 76 overall 19 year old starting on a MLB team..

Who has the most realistic sliders on the vault?

Judging by this and your previous post you are playing on beginner. Dont play with sliders until you get your correct difficulty level. Use dynamic difficulty!

Isnt Dynamic glitched? Or did they fix it?

I'm pretty sure Dynamic Difficulty is still broken in RTTS, at least for batting. It never moves from half-way between Beginner and Rookie.

To the OP, call-ups seem to happen very quickly in RTTS this year. It's been a bit of an issue in previous years as well, but this year it seems to happen very quickly.

I have 3 RTTS players on the go. All three have been promoted to the Bigs within 3 months. I have a 67 OVR pitcher who is #3 in the rotation for the White Sox. He went straight from AA to the MLB.

I have a SS who went from AA to AAA to the MLB in 2 months. He's hitting 0.86 (on purpose to try and force a demotion) and is still 2nd in the lineup.

My RF has good power stats, but fielding in the 50's. He's a bench player stuck with no playing time. He was promoted in June.

Re: Was I called up too quick?

My SS for Seattle has been called up already, before the AA all star game, straight to the majors. Also have a SP already called up to the Blue Jays as well prior to the all star game, skipped AAA altogether. Was a bit shocked and annoyed so now I've started 2 new players to see how quickly they get called up.

Well - you just provided a real life example of a prospect that was moved quickly through the system.

It happens. If your ratings really aren't able to handle the challenge, your stats will drop and maybe they'll move you back to AAA.

I mean you bat .439 in AA, I'm not surprised if you got fast tracked. Doesn't mean you're unrealistic, per se, it just means you got fast tracked. Not every prospect follows a smooth path through the levels.

I say play it out and see what happens. Maybe you catch on quick. Maybe you'll be over overmatched. It happens. See what happens.

What's your Potential?
Don't know what roster you're using but on th default roster the M's Adam Lind is only a C potential at 32 years old & overall a 77, so just based on that, Seattle didn't call you up to quick. If you want to play in the minors longer, bump up the level of difficulty, or drop the human contact, power, timing, & solid hits 2 clicks each.

Re: Was I called up too quick?

As long as the game doesn't glitch and think that every game you start is your AAA debut, then the game didn't call you up too early.

In 15, I was called up to AAA before my AA debut and the game still thinks I'm making my AA debut for every game, even in the big leagues.
