good game

I play nhl16 bagm offline and have done for about 15 years. I think that this game with latest patch plays a decent game , not perfect but what game is I ask. So for all the whiners out there show me a game thats perfect. Some people say that pc nhl games where the best but as I remember out the box there was allways a problem with the ai and it was not until modded that they became good games. Also some people say 2k sports ice hockey was the best but as I remember it , it had good ai , good sliders and good stadiums but was as ugly as hell. so to more recent games yes frustrates me that features were in then taken out to be reintoduced as new features later years and still does not have the features in bagm that the pc game had in 2009 ect its still not playing bad now. I wish ea would solve the slider saving issue and yes there are other issues but If they build on this now it should get better and better. Would I like an ice hockey game for the pc , yes because then it can be modded to improve it further. So the purpose of the message is - in my opiniom its not playing badly offline at the moment.

What sliders and settings are you using?

I have them on superstar hardcore custom with a number of slider changes to aid ai and provide me with a decent challenge and I choose a weak team. Also have edited a number of players attributes in each team. As far as I am concerns this is as good as I have played for a long time. Also I remember that the PC games where never great until the ai players where edited. I also think that the game could be ported to the PC like ubisoft games use uplay so cannot be copied ect.

I will not argue that NHL 16 is the best looking hockey game ever. They have also greatly improved the physics, especially of the player skating. However, our opinions vary on whether it is the "best" hockey game ever. I would vote a "no" on that. There is not enough distinction in the ratings of players, which makes BeAGM harder to enjoy. The stat and award tracking of players is minimal, also hurting the immersion. The sliders are never explained enough to fully be able to customize the game to my liking - heck, I have doubts that some of the sliders do anything (or, at least do what they "should" do). The bottom line for me is whether a game is fun. This one is no better to me than 15, 14, 13, 12 or 11. To me, the last NHL game that actually improved the series was NHL 10 (still the peak of the series, to me). All of that said, yeah, NHL 16 is a good game. It is just a shame that in this period of time, they could not make a great game.
