CFM team points per game

I just noticed that more than half the league in my CFM is averaging over 30 points per game. This is kind of ridiculous considering only two teams averaged 30 or more points in the NFL this year. This is basically killing the immersion for me. Any way to fix this? I did a forum search and the only work around I found was to super sim every game on 6 min. quarters. But seriously, who has time to do that, that's like over an hour of simming every week.

Any help would appreciated, because like I said, this is killing the immersion of CFM for me.

Re: CFM team points per game

Do anyone else think progression has anything to do with this?
Every draft class there are like 50 offensive players with superstar potential, and not even 10 on defense.
In the 2015 season of my CFM i did the average and it was 22.9(almost like real life), then 22.2 in 2016, but now i am in 2021 and it was like 25.7.

Definitely. I'm 10 years in and it's out of control. Haven't looked at the scoring numbers recently but I glanced through the passing stats and there were at least 20 QBs with 99+ passer rating with most over 110. There were six QBs with 99+ passer rating IRL this season and Wilson was the only to reach 110.

Problem is there are at least a couple of quick or superstar dev QBs in every single draft. Nearly every team has an 85+ overall QB at this point; even some of the backups are 85+.

There are basically no pass rushers who are any good compared to the current rosters. Same for corners which only makes the QB issue worse.

While taking an hour to sim a week of games isn't a great option you have to take it in perspective. It takes an hour to play one game.I don't really find it to be all that unreasonable of a solution to something that you or myself find to be that annoying.

There have always been stat issues when simming.I'm actually very pleased that when you do it this way you actually come out with pretty good stats.
