Announcers need to record more lines for MyPlayer - super repetitive and not specific

When you break a record or have a crazy good game (very likely to happen in a video game) or break Wilt's 100 point record, shouldn't the announcers say something about it?

They just go on like it isn't happening... the game knows - it tells you in the corner of the screen, but the announcers never recorded a damn line for it.

Why not? We're on 2k16, technology is improving more and more... let's get some more lines in there, yeah?

Hire an actor to be a fake commentator and make him record a million lines, DLC em in, thank you.

how about giving us some commentary in the pro am games? i've never seen this discussed, but it's so weak that they make us play to silence.

I think announcers need a crap load of generic lines that include the pertinent player's involved. Example:

Kevin: Man, (player last name) has been on a tear lately!

Clark: Yeah, he has really stepped his scoring up. He's averaging only (whatever his average PPG is) points a game; but on this streak he's been averaging (whatever average is on hot streak). He's getting it done for sure.

Greg: And more importantly, they have gone (team record if good the over streak). So this is coming at a time when the team needs it and we're seeing that. This is what you expect out of a 1st Rounder...

For what it's worth, I've learnt to simply play without all the presentation BS. It's interesting the first 5 times, and then after that it's just annoying crap that gets in the way of actually playing the games.

After 3 NBA 2K games IMO it's better to play with the soundtrack on instead of the commentary.

What would help immersion in my opinion would be a bunch of lines about nothing.
In all sports games they constantly talk about what is happening either on the field or on the court, when broadcast teams sometimes just talk about....stuff.

Like someones pre-game attire or some nonsense. Things like that would go a long way to helping the game seem more real
