UPDATED:Fixed (seepg2) Re-Sign Period Charged Me Double for ONE CONTRACT PIC included

Have you guys ever seen this happen before? I was re-signing my franchise QB and the system signed him twice... I did the math and it seemed as if I had been charged double. I had about 30mill to spend, then after resigning him, I only I 1.73.

The new contract was for 6 years 93 mill. And he had 2.5 left from his rookie contract = 95.5 mill.

After signing him, my available cap dropped from 31.1 to 1.73. Someone from my league told me that it was listed in the transition log twice... so that proved my assumption. I had been charged twice.

Have any of you ever seen this happen? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks for any and all help.

It happened in our franchise as well. I think it fixed itself in the offseason during the resigning of you guys though but not sure. I do know it did end up fixing itself.

What kind of deal did you sign him to (how much per year/bonus)? And is this the only deal you made? Did you cut anyone before this?

No this is the only deal I made and offered. I have four other guys waiting to sign though. It is week one of the regular season. No, I didn't cut anyone either.

I have a second franchise that I just go through and look at the draft classes in. I went to that file and signed a player to a long term bonus heavy contract just like the one I gave this player and it worked correctly with no problem.

Seems like the system just glitched.

This happened to an owner in our league as well, for him it was Andrew Luck
