i got past this point in one of my franchises. i did complete the yearly award but not the contract goal. so what happened was, when it was off season going into the 4th season. the goals changed so as my reds franchise was originally finish over .500 and the contract goal was to reach post season. well now after the 3rd season, it changed to yearly goal of reach post season and contract goal was win world series. Well i knew then i was f*cked because the team still had a few pieces to fill before it became a legitmate world series contender so what happened was before the 4th started it let me decide where to go, based on my GM Ranking it listed teams i could go to. Reds was one of those teams but based on the goals i decided to leave them and go help another team out and that team is now the Athletics.
