RB Disappearing in the fourth quarter?

Has anyone had their starting RB just not play in the fourth quarter? Happens every game for me. he's not injured and he has stamina. Any help? Thanks.

Re: RB Disappearing in the fourth quarter?

I had the same issues in my dynasty. My starting HB would be in the game for the entire first half (maybe miss a play or two), part of the third quarter, and then none of the fourth quarter.

My (easiest) solution was to sub him out. I started sitting him every third or fourth drive, and then he started to play in the fourth quarter. Plus it allowed me to build depth with the running backs. I'd even put in my third or fourth stringer once every couple of games just to give them some playing time and save my starter.

I also tried using formation subs, and it worked sometimes. But I think if I did a better job with the formation subs, I would see better results.

I've always used formation subs and have never had this problem. What's your auto subs sliders set at? If they're set too high that's probably why he's disappearing in the 4th quarter, because even though he's rested he won't be back at 100 stamina again until the next game

I found that if I adjusted the substitution sliders *at all* from the default, this happens all the time. No matter what I did (changing his place in the depth chart, etc.), I couldn't get him back in. So, I've not touched those sliders in years!

Re: RB Disappearing in the fourth quarter?

On the autosubs, keep 'RB In' below 85....85 or higher and this will happen.

Re: RB Disappearing in the fourth quarter?

I found out that you can bring your starting RB back if you Supersim a play but it's kind of risky especially late in the 4th quarter.. So what I did was whenever a td was scored either from me or the cpu late in the 3rd quarter or early in 4th, i simulated the extra point.. 97% of the time, my starter was in to start the 4th.

Then I found out the reason why he was disappearing due to the buggy Sub sliders so I put it back on default, then I went to formation subs to have my backup RB start on a few formation to be sure.. No issues so far.. Hope this helps
