2016 World Series Contenders

Any thoughts?
Think next year the AL Central is a 2 team race with the Indians and Royals. Think the Indians are 2 bats away from giving the Royals more than they can handle, they need a masher and another consistent bat, but they certinley have the pitching.

AL West will probably the weakest division again, there's really nothing that great about any team put there.

AL East should be a good one depending on what Price does, I think that's a situation where if he leaves a lot of things can fall apart. Boston could have a good year though I think they need some pitching help.

NL Central I think the Pirates start to fade back to the bottom, I think the Cubs build on this year and maybe sign Price themselfs, think if they get one more good pitcher be it FA or Trade they Will win the central. Cards will be good as always.

NL West well see if the Dodgers just keep spending money to build a world series winner. Giants need a lot of help IMO I think they should start to tear it down and rebuild, sell off for some top prospects, same with the Padres. The Padres super team experiment failed hard.

NL East the Mets should be the heavy favorite especially if Washington losses Zimmerman and can't replace him with anyone. I bet Cespedes doesn't even hit the FA market, resigns right before.

Superfluous speculation at this point. There will be so many moves throughout that no one can anticipate.

I mean just look at this article. If making predictions was one of your high school/college tests, this would be a massive, we're signing you up for Summer school, fail. It's like the "expert prognosticators" (I can think of a better word that rhymes with that) picked "C" for every multiple choice answer and hoped for the best:

MLB experts make picks: Who will win it all in 2015?

Funny part is how every single AL prediction was wrong. Mariners,Red Sox,Tigers didn't even get 80 wins lol.

Obviously anything can happen in offseason, so real hard to even try and make predictions now. Royals are really closest team from AL I can think of to have best chance to make playoffs. Jays, who knows what's happening there with them getting rid of their GM(not to mention not raising their budget, despite making dozens of millions of dollars extra this year), Yankees are always a question mark with their age and what potential FA moves they could go out and make. And AL West, who knows what could happen there

No,that's 2017.

2012 Giants win
2013 Gomes wins
2014 Giants win
2015 Gomes wins

Meaning
2016 Giants win
2017 Gomes wins

Technically at this point, every team is a contender. Before this year, Houston endured 4 straight 90-loss seasons (including 3 straight 100-loss seasons) and hadn't been over .500 since 2008. This year they led their division for ~130 games.
