FIFA 16 PROFESSIONAL Sliders

Greetings!

FIFA 16 World Class or Legendary difficulty levels at default are not fun neither realistic. CPU gameplay is near perfect. Playing against Barcelona or any low rated team is almost the same. Near perfect defending, tackling and passing are very annoying. Real football is also about making errors, not always perfection. Sliders can make WC better, challenging, but it continues to be a frustrating unrealistic experience.

Professional difficult level is the best way we currently have to simulate real football and stats. Because at default pro difficulty is very easy for most users, the set tries to make games more USER/CPU balanced. But, playing unbalanced teams needs to originate unbalanced results (most of the times). That is an essential issue when a set tries to simulate RL.

Give a try to the following sets. Maybe one will fit your expectations. If you choose to play with any, post here your experience.

PROFESSIONAL
15 Mins (or 10 to 20 Mins)
Slow Speed
Legacy defending (also works with tactical)
v1.07

Suggested configuration (or User preference):
Auto switching: air balls
Move assistance: none
Passing power assistance: off
Pass assist: manual
Through ball assist: manual
Shot assist: manual
Cross assist: semi
Lob pass assist: manual
Save assistance: assisted

PROFESSIONAL
20 Mins, Mix Assisted/Semi/Manual
Slow
Legacy defending

User/CPU
Sprint Speed - 50/55
Acceleration - 49/51
Shot Error - 57/57
Pass Error- 50/58
Shot Speed- 49/49
Pass Speed - 49/49
Injury Freq - 65/65
Injury Severity - 40/40
GK Ability- 49/49
Marking- 55/60
Run Frequency - 10/10
Line Height - 55/55
Line Length - 35/35
Line Width - 100/100
FB Positioning - 55/55
FT Control - 55/55

My comments for the values:

Sprint Speed: just a little boost to CPU to make it harder
Acceleration: same here
Shot Error: at default shots look very effective
Pass Error: with semi-assisted I make enough passing errors, while CPU doesn’t. 60 looks too much, breaking almost all CPU crosses
Shot Speed: at default shots look a little too quick
Pass Speed: same here. Don't like lower values because it slows CPU build up too much
Injury Freq and Severity: adding some minor injuries
GK Ability: GK at default are a little too strong
Marking: to make it harder
Run Frequency: even at 10 players make realistic runs. At default they are constantly moving forward
Line Height, Length and Width: as suggested in Community sliders
FB Positioning: at default FB are too static sitting at the back
FT Control: adds some FT errors to make it more realistic

The main idea is that real football is mainly an ERROR based sport. That's why the scores are so low compared with other sports. Even top teams and players make many mistakes and sometimes increadible ones.
FIFA 16 WC or Legendary are not fun neither realistic. CPU gameplay is near perfect. Variation in CPU is very limited. Short secure passes are the rule. Perfect defending, tackles and interceptions are very frustrating. Sliders can't do much to humanize CPU at those difficult levels.
Unless you are a very good FIFA player, PRO is the only way to go. Because at default pro difficulty is somehow easy, the set tries to make games more difficult and realistic.

Check the following videos to see how the set plays.

Hi there
Sorry for my English, it's not my native language.
Thanks for posting your slides. I'm a fan of professional mode too.
Unfortunately, the structural weakness of the cpu in PRO mode is a big issue..
No offense, but looking at the videso it seems to me that your slides unfortunately have not solved it.
More fouls and pressure by cpu are needed.
However i'l give them a go.
Keep up the work, anyway, because it's very unusual to see Slides on pro mode.

Thanks for your opinion. If you find out a way to improve the set please share here.

For now I will test lower shot error for CPU and increase Marking.

EDIT: did some testing and really like the results. Added a little more difficulty. Now started to experience all ranges of scores (D 1-1, L 2-5, V 0-1). Total shots are good (between 10-20) with nearly 50% on goal both human and CPU. Possetion not far from 50%. Some fouls and cards. Will edit the OP.

Re: Hardcore Simulation FIFA 16 Sliders

Cheers from Portugal!

I didnīt test your sliders but I did test lots of settings, and Iīm currently playing World Class default sliders. I do like the approach from CPU on Pro level but like you said, itīs too easy. I donīt want to mess with sliders anymore because they change the fundamentals of the game, and then we never know if something happened from the program it self, or the sliders weīre using. Anyway, I just looking at yours and watching the videos, I would recommend you to increase Run frequency, mainly for CPU. I understand you want that slow approach, but CPU needs a bit more power on their attacks through all the match, not just when theiīre loosing.
Cheers

Boas!

Please test the set so I can have some feedback.

I understand your need to keep it at default. I have tried it many times, at PRO, WC and Legendary. Also tried other people sets of sliders and the Community Sliders too. Believe me, I tried almost everything! But I failed to have FUN and got very frustrated with CPU gameplay. My set targets other players that feel the same way when playing at WC/Legendary.

About RF, what value do you suggest?

Thanks!

Re: Hardcore Simulation FIFA 16 Sliders

I would sugest at least around 35. They wonīt be super attacking, and you might have to use defensive/attacking mentalities throughout the match. But it all depends on each oneīs ability on the game after all.

Re: Hardcore Simulation FIFA 16 Sliders

Having great games with the lattest set. Fun and diverse. Don't think I will need to change it much more. Check the stats and videos (on OP):

Newcastle (CPU) vs Southampton

Score 2 -3
Shots 15 - 7
On target 5 - 5 (CPU shot error 51)
Possession 50 - 50
Tackles 12 - 24
Fouls 0 - 4
Off-sides 0 - 0
Corners 5 - 2
Pass accuracy 87 - 85
