Why do people join Pro-AM games only to immediately quit?

It's becoming a trend lately where we'll load up a Pro-Am squad game...then the other team immediately quits. Maybe OS can help me get some insight as to why you would even load into a game if you're just gonna quit? IF you're losing by large amount then I don't agree but can understand the basis behind it but why when it's right after tip off?

Is it because the other team looks too good? Is it just a troll attempt to make the other team play your CPU? It can't be to try and cheese a win since if the remaining players quit, it says that are no more for the last one and shows the VC screen. I realize there's nothing to lose by quitting but why even play if you're just gonna quit out immediately in a mode that's really for bragging rights? It baffles me and if a team is really that scared to play another team, then head back to the Park or have at least some pride.

It could be that 1 or more teammates didn't make it into the game. This seems to be a somewhat regular occurrence.

I've been playing a good number of walk on games and there is always at least two quitters before the 1st quarter ends. Last two games it was down to only 4 people on our team against the CPUS.

Whenever I play walk on I'm matched with people who literally have no clue how to play basketball. Really annoying
